Maggie McCloskey is a lung cancer patient and survivor who has channeled her personal experience into active advocacy in the research and clinical communities. Since 2022, she has served as a patient reviewer for research grant funding, including with the Lung Cancer Research Foundation, and has participated in expert patient panels on clinical trial access and physician-patient communication. Her recent work includes contributing to a continuing medical education course on MET alterations for PeerView, serving on patient advisory panels for BioNTech and Johnson & Johnson at ASCO 2025, and contributing to patient education videos for Caris Life Sciences and The Patient Story. She is a member of IASLC, ASCO, and AACR, with a particular focus on resistance to targeted therapies. At MET Crusaders, she serves as Chair of the Speaker’s Bureau.
